I’m planning a trip to London and need to get to London City Airport. I’ve heard that you can get there by Tube, but I’m not entirely sure of the best route or where I should change lines. Hey! To get to London City Airport by Tube, you’ll want to start on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) from Bank or Tower Gateway. The DLR has a direct line to London City Airport, so you won’t need to switch trains once you’re on it. Just hop on the DLR, and you’ll be there in about 20-30 minutes. It’s pretty straightforward, but make sure you check the latest schedules and any potential service changes before you head out. Safe travels!
Just to add to this, if you’re coming from a different part of London and need to change to the DLR, you can do that at Bank Station.
