is there a train station at leeds bradford airport?

I’m planning a trip and was wondering if there’s a train station at Leeds Bradford Airport. I’ve heard that it’s a bit out of the way from the main train routes, so I’m not sure if there’s a direct connection or if I’d need to hop on a bus or something to get to the nearest station. Any insights or personal experiences with getting to and from the airport by train would be super helpful!

Unfortunately, there isn’t a train station directly at Leeds Bradford Airport. It’s about 8 miles away from the airport. You can catch a bus from the airport to Leeds city center, where you’ll find Leeds Train Station. The bus is pretty frequent and takes around 30 minutes or so. If you’re coming from further afield, you might want to check out connections and plan a bit of extra time for the transfer. Hope that helps!

Just adding to this—if you’re looking for a slightly faster option, you can also take a taxi from the airport directly to the train station. It’s more expensive but can save you some time if you’re in a rush. There are also a few shuttle services that run between the airport and Leeds Train Station. Just check the schedules in advance to find one that fits your travel plans!

Also, if you’re flying in and are planning to stay in Leeds for a while, you might want to consider renting a car. The airport is pretty well connected by roads, and it could give you a bit more flexibility for getting around the city and the surrounding area.
